A Man with a Vision

Hello again everyone so glad to be serving the Lord today and to be able to be a part of the kingdom of God, how about you? A few weeks ago the Lord spoke very clearly to my heart about the importance of hearing his voice. As a matter of fact he told me after salvation and being full of his spirit we must learn to discern and hear him clearly. As you read this you may say God still speaks, He sure does and I want to say that there are so many voices out there pulling us and our children in so many ways and JESUS is saying to us just listen to me let me guide you let me lead I will not lead you astray. I have a little story I would like to share with you about hearing Gods voice. John 10-14 says I am the good shepherd I know my sheep and they know me and my voice. We have a little calf that we have been bottle feeding and the other day I went out to get her to feed her and she was gone. I do this little mooing noise and she usually comes running but she didn’t this time, so the search started. I went to Stacy wards pasture and the calf was there with other cows for the first time in about 2 months. I thought to myself I will never get her out away from those cows but I started calling with a moo and her ears perked up and she got up and ran to me. I was amazed when she left 75 cows to come to me and let me pet her. Really its not her nature to follow a human, her nature is with those cows but she heard the voice of the person that was feeding her and taking care of her and nurturing her and she left what may have looked right to follow what was right. Just as that baby calf left what she was born into to follow who took care of her we have to decide to follow Jesus where he leads. We are all born into sin and a sinful nature with the results ending in death and eternal separation from God forever, but Jesus made a way through the cross, and by his voice he is still calling people like me and you to him through salvation which leads to life. Who are you following today? When is the last time you heard Gods voice? Is he calling you today? Hello everyone I hope all is going well .I have been really stirred to brokenness and excitement over the last few days about what God is doing. God has been speaking to me about raising up an army of believers (soldiers) for the kingdom of God. In order for this army to win the battle we must be in tune with the king (JESUS). In the book of Exodus chapter 17 Moses and his people were in a battle, just as we all are today of some sort whether we know it or not. But Moses was in tune with God because he spent time with him and Moses was also in tune with his people and because of his relationships being in right standings he and his people gained victory. Folks I guess what I am trying to say is we can’t win this battle alone, the Bible tells us the great commission is to love the lord your God with all your heart, mind and soul and love your neighbor as yourself. (matthew27:37-39) if we will love JESUS CHRIST and love each other there is not a devil in hell that can overcome us. I believe it’s time to start lifting the name of Jesus up and lifting our neighbors hands and we will see great things done in this ministry for the kingdom of God. Maybe you are reading this and you are in a battle right now depression, drug addiction, financial problems, sickness, or anything, let me tell you JESUS is the only way out. If we can help in any way please let us know by contacting someone in the ministry and we will be glad to help. God is doing great things and I believe we are about to see greater things, won’t you come be a part of what is going on in the kingdom of God. Challenge for the month pray each day for one person that you can bless in some way through word or financial it doesn’t matter be a blessing and see how God blesses you.

Hello everyone. Hope all is well and hope you are ready for some more good news in this edition of Around The Arena. Bud Glover does such a great job and I would like to say thanks Bud for putting all this together for this ministry. As I sit here and write this article my heart is very stirred about the life we live and the effects our lives has on other people. Our lives effect people in a positive manner or a negative one, and I just found out that one man, who’s life and ministry has impacted my life and so many others David Wilkerson was killed today. Now, I have never met this man but his life was surrendered to Jesus Christ therefore he was used in a positive way to touch so many people around the world. Folks me and you are no different we can have that same impact on peoples lives if we will just do what Jesus would have us do,( love, give, forgive, surrender, care, be humble, etc.). If you are anything like me we owe him everything because he has done so much for us. I want to leave you with this thought about your life, we have only one life to live, will you live it surrendered to Christ so you can impact the world or will you live it surrendered to the enemy to impact yourself. There is only two ways, Heaven or Hell which will you choose? We hope to see you soon at church with us and if you need us please call.
